Donna R. Lewis

Joined the firm in 2001

Donna has over 36 years of legal experience. She attended and graduated with honors from the Columbus State Community College in 1988. She immediately was accepted into the Capital University Law School paralegal program. Donna completed that program while working full-time at a law firm in Columbus. Donna graduated with honors from the Capital University Law School Certified Legal Assistant Program in 1989. She has worked as a paralegal ever since.

Donna been a member of our law firm for 23 years. She performs a wide variety of work and client services tasks at Warnock Law. She works closely with all of our clients, particularly those involved in domestic relations cases. Some of her tasks for those types of cases include: meeting and keeping in touch with clients, communicating with attorneys, court staff, and witnesses; drafting correspondence and pleadings; working on discovery requests and responses; managing and tracking files; meetings and court appearances; and, all aspects of deposition, hearings, and trial preparations.

Donna also spends significant time with our clients who are involved in probate cases and estate administration following the death of a loved one. She communicates with the executor and various family members; assists with determining and verifying the estate assets and liabilities; aids in the transfer of the estate assets pursuant to the will; drafts necessary pleadings; and monitors the required deadlines of the Court.

Donna is a life-long resident of Delaware County, where she continues to reside with her husband and their rescued dog, Ruby. She and her husband have three adult children, who all are immersed in their professional careers. Donna enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is an OSU, Guardians, and Browns fan.
